Nikolaos Tsirivas is a graduate of the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2004, he was awarded a Master’s Degree in Theoretical Mathematics and in 2008 he was awarded a Doctorate in Mathematics by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests focus on Complex Analysis, Potential Theory and Operator Theory. His research focuses on the properties of Universal Series and Hypercyclic Operators. He held a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Dublin (2009-2011) and a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Crete (2012-2015). During the 2009-2020 period, he taught as a visiting professor at the Universities of Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Patras and West Attica and in 2020 he was appointed Assistant Professor at the University of Thessaly, in the Department of Mathematics, where he teaches courses in the field of Mathematical Analysis.
He is the author of 20 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and he is a reviewer in four international journals. He has given lectures at international conferences in Greece and Europe and he was a member of the organizing committee of international conferences.
