Course material covers the developmental stages of the individual. More specifically, it refers to infancy, preschool age, middle childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, and late adulthood. Emphasis is placed on the cognitive development that is expected at different age stages of the individual and especially on preschool and middle childhood as well as adolescence. The course material includes basic models of school learning and management depending on the age of the students. Finally, the course provides an overview of the role of the teacher in the various developmental stages of the individual.
