The main aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge that will allow recognition and evaluation of Learning Disabilities of children in the school environment. Also, provides skills in order to adapt teaching to the needs of this group of children. The course material covers the Neuropsychological Approaches to the Causes of Learning Disabilities. It is also an introduction to the diagnostic criteria of Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dysortography, Dyscalculia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and social-emotional disorders. In addition, it provides students with teaching plans and intervention programs for children with Learning Disabilities.
