Panagiotis Polymerakis received a Degree in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Ioannina, a Master’s Degree from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bonn and a PhD from the Department of Mathematics of the Humboldt University of Berlin. His research focuses mostly on Spectral Geometry. He is also interested in harmonic functions on Riemannian manifolds and discrete groups, exploiting methods from Stochastic Analysis. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics and at Laval University. He taught graduate courses at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Bonn and at the Department of Mathematics of the Humboldt University of Berlin.
