Andreas Kalogeropoulos received his B.Sc. from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Patras. He obtained a M.Sc. (Honors) in Applied Mathematics from the Hellenic Open University in 2018 where he received a scholarship of excellence, while in 2022 he was received his Ph.D. from the School of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki under an I.K.Y. scholarship. Since 2022, he is a post-doctoral researcher of AUTH and he participates in academic and industrial research projects.

His research interests focus in aspects of Applied Mathematics like propagation and scattering of E/M and sound waves, mathematical biology and quantum computing. He specializes in analytical and numerical methods of Partial Differential Equations and Integral Equations. He is author of more than 10 journal articles and conference papers, while he has been awarded a Best Young Scientist Paper Presentation in an IEEE international conference.

He is a member of the Institute of Electrics and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), of the Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), and he acts as a reviewer in 3 international scientific journals (Inverse Problems, AIMS Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering, Advanced Electromagnetics) while he is one of the guest editors of the special issue Mathematical Modeling of Biomedical Problems with Scattering Theory Techniques of the scientific journal AIMS Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering.
