Graduate of the Faculty of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a Master Thesis in “Environmental Physics” of the Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2011 he was awarded a Doctorate by the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests are mainly in Environmental & Atmospheric Physics, Atmospheric Pollution, Climate Change, Astronomy / Astrophysics and in the Science education. He has conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Thessaly. Also, for two years he was a research associate in the project of EUMETSAT for ozone monitoring at the Department of Physics – AUTH. He has taught courses in the Faculties of Electronics, Electrology and Informatics of ATEI Lamia – Central Greece, in the Departments of Informatics & Telecommunications and Physics, as well as in the Postgraduate Program “Informatics and Computational Biomedicine” of the University of Thessaly. He has written articles in international journals and in conference proceedings with the peer review system and has also participated in International and Panhellenic Conferences. Since 2011 he is a Scientific Associate of the Academy of Athens at the Research Center for Atmospheric Physics and Climatology and since 2012 a member of the Hellenic Meteorological Society.
