Stamatis Pouliasis received a Degree in Mathematics, a Master’s Degree in Theoretical Mathematics and a PhD from the Department of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests lie in Complex Analysis and Potential Theory.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher he has conducted research and taught undergraduate or graduate courses at Université Laval (Québec), Sabanci University (Istanbul), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Texas Tech University (Lubbock). From 2019 to 2022 he served as a faculty member (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Texas Tech University. Since June 2022 he is serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Thessaly.
He has authored a significant number of articles in international peer-reviewed journals, is a reviewer in international peer-reviewed journals and has given numerous lectures at international conferences and seminars. He has participated in the organization of international conferences in Europe and America and in the organization of the Analysis seminar at Texas Tech University. He has supervised a Master’s student at Texas Tech University.
