  • Geometry of four-dimensional space-time. Riemann curvature tensor. Equivalence principle. Newtonian limit.
  • Energy-momentum tensor. Conservation laws and energy-momentum pseudo-tensor.
  • Einstein field equations. Energy conditions. Weak gravitational fields. Classic tests/experiments of the General Theory of Relativity.
  • Spherically symmetric spacetime. Schwarzschild solution and Birkhoff theorem. Schwarzschild black holes. Reissner-Nordström solution. Spacetime singularities.
  • Axially symmetric spacetimes. Kerr-Newman solution and rotating black holes. Geodesics of Kerr-Newman spacetime.
