Description
The aim of this course is the study in some depth of a subject from any area of Statistics, Probability and Operational Research, which can be chosen after discussion with the students. The basic characteristic of this course is the active participation of students via presentations. Indicative subjects are: Distributions, Limit Theorems, Stochastic Processes, Simulation, Parametric Statistical Inference, Nonparametric Statistical Inference, Multivariate Statistics, Time Series Analysis, Bayesian Statistics, Reliability, Survival Analysis, Biostatistics, Operational Research, etc.
