Description
- Introduction to Stata, SPSS, R environments.
- Data variables: Data entry, Variable coding change, Random sample selection procedure (Random Sample) and file splitting procedure (split file). Reading data from existing files, merging data into a single database, importing data from Excel and file integrations.
- Descriptive Statistics: Extracting descriptive characteristics of the data.
- Hypothesis tests (t-tests, non-parametric tests, equality of variances).
- Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)
- Database connections, ASCII files, File transfer between different programs and packages of statistics.
- Programming in statistical software packages: Commands, Structure of a function, loops, iteration.
- Graphics, Data Visualization (Histogram, box and line chart, scatter plots, pie charts, parameterization of charts, multiple charts in one box).
- Basic commands of linear regression and generalized linear models.
